PLAYMOBIL is a brand we all know and love, and they don’t disappoint with their new collector’s edition of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale. While I have never been much of a car enthusiast or collector, this model really impressed me. The iconic Ferrari design with its sleek, aerodynamic lines and bright red colour is matched with PLAYMOBIL’s unique model designs making this the perfect collector’s piece.

The box hosts bright colourful imagery, whilst still being made of cardboard in line with PLAYMOBIL’s usual sustainable packaging design. Inside we are greeted with the impressive red Ferrari car and a whole host of figures and accessories, totalling 43 pieces. The box contains 1 man and 1 woman figure, the Ferrari SR90 Stradale Car, a travel bag, 2 golf bags with clubs, 2 visor caps for each figure as well as a wristwatch for each too. The car however is the focus point, and the attention to detail in its design is truly impressive. The model car comes with a removable sunroof, which when removed reveals an impressively detailed interior in keeping with the usual Ferrari high-quality design. Inside the car we see an illuminated dashboard, Ferrari logo steering wheel and enough space to fit both the two human figures inside. The model has both the authentic interior design we know from Ferrari alongside PLAYMOBIL’s talents incorporating realistic light functions.

What is truly impressive is that we can open the trunk to see a model replica of the V8 engine synonymous with the Ferrari’s Italian production. With the Ferrari logo across the steering wheel, bonnet, boot, and wheel rims it’s no surprise why this is such a sought-after collector’s item. Furthermore, in keeping with PLAYMOBIL’s standards, the model car meets the highest quality and safety tests that ensure the model maintains the established safety requirements which have made PLAYMOBIL such a household brand. The model is still only recommended for 5 years and up due to it containing small parts, however, this car would certainly bring a smile to anyone’s face as both a toy for an older child or as a collector’s piece - either way, the PLAYMOBIL Ferrari model is not one to be missed.

You can’t help but be excited to open the PLAYMOBIL Ferrari SF90 Stradale as it is clear that a great deal of design has gone into the model to make it as iconic as the real car itself. There is no doubt this would make a great present for anyone who loves the PLAYMOBIL or Ferrari brands, but I think this model will be especially perfect for the car collector among us to get their hands on this impressive collaboration between two such giant brands.
